Every detail exudes opulence. The hardware—including locks, handle plates, and rings—is crafted from 18ct solid hallmarked white gold. The case and playing field are finished in the finest alligator leather, sourced from the same tanners as Hermès, with a high-gloss finish. The points are inlaid with exotic shagreen (stingray) leather, procured from the Far East.

The checkers are a marvel in themselves, featuring a gold finish with white and yellow hues, each adorned with a one-carat diamond. The edges are detailed with shagreen, while the underside is lined with alligator leather.

To protect these exquisite pieces, we designed a special padded suede compartment within the case, ensuring each checker is cocooned in its own space alongside the 18ct white gold doubling cube, which features initials and numbers set in diamonds.

The alligator dice cups, lined with suede, are housed in a separate alligator cabinet, accompanied by four 18ct white gold spot dice with diamond “spots” and four precision dice with ball corners, all lined and padded in suede.

This unparalleled luxury backgammon set is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, using exotic materials including alligator leather from the USA and ethically sourced shagreen to preserve ecological balance. An 18ct white gold plaque on the case’s lid features initials set in diamonds.
